Okay, health care update:
"Kaiser made an enormous error" and canceled my coverage instead of someone else's. HR straightened it out with them and I am covered again.
In other work news, today I was accidentally supervisor! Betty wasn't in (today is her bridge day) and today was supposed to be Christina's first day back after a week off, but she didn't come in. So I wound up being supervisor-by-default, because no permanent staffers were present and the other temps aren't indefinitely assigned to the study like I am.
I'm pleased to say that my first time supervising, there were no problems. Of course, in the interest of avoiding hubris, there were also no Problems. (That is to say, I didn't screw up, but nothing outside of my control blew up to cause me problems either.) |
